Cheer Tumble
Class begins with the basics of tumbling in order to develop a good foundation of skills for Cheerleading. Instruction includes: jumps, and how to connect tumbling and jumps into seamless transitions, as well as strength and conditioning to prepare the body for cheer skills. Students will receive personal training to perfect their level appropriate skills.
Tiny Tumble
Students have fun exploring the different tumbling equipment while developing strength and agility. Students can be expected to learn forward rolls, bridges, and table tops, and are introduced to basic handstands and cartwheels.
Beginner Tumble
New to the world of acrobatics, these students work on their cartwheels, back-bends, front limbers, and back walkovers. These students are introduced to simple contortion movements geared towards improving flexibility.
Intermediate Tumble
After mastering a few basic skills. students perform the following independently: Front limber, back walkover, cartwheel, one-handed cartwheel. Utilization of the brand new tumble track allows work to begin on back handsprings and side ariels. Intermediate contortion skills geared towards improving strength and flexibility are introduced..
Advanced Tumble
After mastering either their side ariel or back handspring, students perform one or both skills independently to be enrolled in this level. A rigorous warm-up prepares this fun-filled tumbling class to work on developing strong tumbling passes consisting of two or more skills. Our brand new tumble track will be available to these dancers for the majority of class.
